E-Cards & E-Newsletters

START SPREADING THE NEWS!

from £149We know how important it is to communicate with your customers and promote your business. HTML E-Cards and E-Newsletters are a great way to keep your customers updated on recent and upcoming events, and allow you to get your message across in an informative, and playful way.

You can include as little or as much text in your email communications as you want, although we advise that you keep the length of the email short and to the point. In our experience, people don’t want to sit and read through masses of text, so it is important that the content you provide is well considered and engaging.

HOW WE CAN HELP

Over the years, we have designed and built a number of HTML E-Cards for our clients. We understand that flexibility is important and therefore we offer a range of service options for you to choose from. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements and we will be happy to give you a quote!

Design & Build

We can take the campaign through the initial design stage, or build based on a supplied visual. Your E-Card will be tested across all major email clients to ensure it looks consistent, and professional throughout. Take a look at some of our recent examples below.

Hosting Email Files

We can build your E-Card and host it on our server ready for you to send out straight away. If you already have your own hosting available, we are happy to supply you with the HTML and image files for you to host elsewhere.

Integration with MailChimp

MailChimp is a popular, web-based email service provider. We can design your E-Card and integrate it with a MailChimp account. Managing your email campaigns through this account will allow you to manage your contact lists, create and edit future email campaigns yourself, and view report statistics such as open rates, and link tracking so you can see what worked well in one email compared to another. You can set up an account yourself or we can do this for you. You can have as much control over the management of the account, and your email campaigns as you feel comfortable with. If you feel this may be too much for you, we are happy to manage the account on your behalf. We can also create a list sign-up form, incorporating your logo and brand colours. This form can then be promoted on your website or social media, automatically syncing with your contact list.

Glossary

Meta Tags

Meta tags and metadata allows the website to define non-visible information about the website. Search engines can use this information to determine what information they should feature in the search results etc.

Alt Text

Stands for alternative text. This is the text that is displayed if an image fails to load and is also used for accessibility. If you are blind, your computer will read out the image alt text as a way of describing to the user what the image is portraying.

HTML5 Element Tags

HTML5 offers new semantic elements to define different parts of a web page which make it easier for search engines to locate and read relevant content on your site.

Backend

This is the non-customer facing, behind the scenes part of the website. EG, the code files and databases which make the website work.

Breadcrumb Navigation Paths

These are text links which show the user where abouts on the website they are in relation to other content on the site. If they clicked on ‘Link 1’ from the homepage, the breadcrumb on that page would display as ‘Home > Link 1’. You can then use these links to quickly navigate back to previously visited or other relative pages on the website.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics allows you to track pages on your website and monitor which pages are viewed the most, how visitors got to that page and how long they stayed on that page. You can then use this information to improve weaker pages and also to find ways to encourage visitors to come back to your website. Read more here.
